A Statutory Declaration is used to satisfy legal requirements or regulations. While most commonly used to declare Marital Status or Common Law Union it can also be used for Patent Applications & when improving or exporting goods when the nature of goods are in question. A Statutory Declaration is not a sworn legal document. the declarant only affirms that the content is true but must be witnessed by a Lawyer, Justice of the peace or Notary Public. |
